Noelle’s publications and research focus on Transcendentalism, women’s writing and history, the history of women’s rights, and manuscript culture. Current projects include Margaret Fuller: Collected Writing, edited with Megan Marshall and Brigitte Bailey (Library of America, forthcoming 2023) and The Almanacks of Mary Moody Emerson: A Scholarly Digital Edition, edited with Sandra Harbert Petrulionis, in progress and being published in Women Writers Online. Recent publications include Stanton in Her Own Time: A Biographical Chronicle of Her Life, Drawn from Recollections, Interviews, and Memoirs by Family, Friends, and Associates (University of Iowa Press, 2016).
